Our house is both cluttered and empty all at the same time. I mean sure, all our stuff is here, but it is in sealed up boxes with clear labeling ready to be shuffled along to the moving truck first thing tomorrow morning. I think it’s the whole two days of being in-between that is so daunting for me. Because settlement is the 23rd at midday we can’t move in until that time.

Anyway two days of staying with my heavily pregnant sister will be an adventure. I’m sure she’ll be nesting something fierce.

I can’t wait to move house so I can fill the pantry. Also so my piano book can come.

Spent the afternoon drinking tea and making timetables, lists and budgeting. Who is this productive person? What has she done to Rebecca?

Ifwewerefeckless, an update

On the 31st of December 2013 I set myself some goals for the year ahead. What is phenomenal though is that I stuck to those goals and six months later have found myself well on track.

  1. Sit the STAT test
  2. Apply for uni
  3. Get p’s
  4. Buy a car
  5. Save $$
  6. Read 30 books (increased to 50 - currently @ 33/50) \

So as I type this the kettle is on and I have about a thousand tabs open. Most of it is orientation info for uni. O-Week begins on the 16th so I’d better get cracking.

I only have four followers at the moment (HI BRIDGET MY DARLING) but when I had this URL previously there were so many people I cared about and still check up on faaar too frequently to admit.

I guess the time away from this identity and the scrutiny that came with it was good for me. I feel like an entirely different and much more mature Rebecca.

The next couple of weeks will be tumultuous (moving house, starting uni, working) but I’m excited to say the least.

Cool beans, life. Cool freaking beans.
